It does an excellent job leveling the grounds evenly before tamping, which helps create more consistent extractions and better espresso shots overall.The self-leveling design makes the process very easy and repeatable, especially if you’re trying to improve your workflow at home. It also feels very high quality in the hand with solid construction and smooth adjustment.Since adding this to my setup, my espresso preparation feels much more refined and professional.Overall, this is a great tool that genuinely helps elevate your espresso game.

I've picked up a few zeroHero items lately and I think I've got a feel for the brand at this point. They're a newer player in the "premium" espresso tools space, and while they're just a tiny step below the likes of Normcore and Ikape in terms of overall fit and finish, they're clearly aiming at that same crowd and doing a solid job of it.This distributor is genuinely one of the nicest I've used, and I've had a bunch of these leveling doodads over the years. The weight is great, the machining is clean, it looks sharp on the bar, and the 3-blade design does exactly what it's supposed to as part of my puck prep routine. The adjustable depth is easy to dial in and stays put.Pricing is comparable to similar tools from Normcore and Ikape, so you're not paying a premium over the competition, you're just getting a very good tool at a fair market rate for this category.This one is staying in my workflow going forward. If you're in the market for a quality espresso distributor and want something that feels premium without being overly precious about the brand name on it, zeroHero is worth a look. Highly recommend.

Very heavy (in a good way) all metal feeling construction.Has a very premium feel to it and the gravity function works smoothly and quietly - with enough weight to properly tamp the coffee and the blades to smooth it out nicely... a really nice addition to the coffee bar!10/10 would recommend.
